Jewelry for Men: Desired by the Sexes

    Saturday, August 29th, 2009
    by Elias Riftinger

Okay all you manly men you, jewelry is not only for women any longer. David Beckham has become world wide famous for his amazing skills as a soccer player, however, he is also famous for something else. David Beckham is also a jewelry designer.

He has made his mark in the world of men’s jewelry and this is quite the accomplishment. He was the first man to wear diamond earrings that were two diamonds each. He is taken so seriously in the world of design, culture, and what’s hot, that it was taken seriously. It allowed men to become more interested in jewelry.

His first attempt as a designer came at his pre-World Cup party. It was there that he put his men’s jewelry on an incredible display. However, he could not do this alone. He was helped by Ashley Cole who is England’s full back. He arrived in style, wearing a dinner jacket and no shirt underneath. Instead of a shirt, Cole displayed pieces of men’s jewelry.

Shaving your Balls Series Part 2: Knowing the Basics.

    Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

In part one I gave you 6 quick tips for shaving your balls because I know you probably couldn’t wait to pick up a razor and to do your thing;).

As I’ve told you the earlier article, scrotum shaving is not a thing to take lightly; it takes some patience and extra care to achieve the perfect results, which is of course, having a soft, itch-free scrotum.  When you start shaving your scrotum your skin down there is not as prepared compared to the skin on other parts of your body.  In fact the scrotum is where the most sensitive skin is located.

If you’re considering shaving your scrotum, get to know your skin type first.  It is strongly advised to stay away from this practice if you have a sensitive skin – unless you like itching and bad irritations after shave.  Having said that, let’s start with a few don’ts for shave time:

    ·         Don’t use an electric shaver

    ·         Don’t use wax

    ·         Don’t use chemicals to remove scrotum hair

Shaving your Balls Series Part 1: 6 Quick Tips.

    Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

Shaving your privates isn’t the easiest thing, you have to take your time for it and of course be gentle doing it. My guess is that you all agree on that. Pubic shaving is literally a sensitive matter.

The skin of your scrotum is very sensitive and is easily irritated and small wounds can occur pretty quick.

So that is why we are starting with the quick tips in this small miniseries. You probably can’t wait to start your big trim. In the next episodes I’ll explain the dos and don’ts more extensively.

    1.       Trim your hair before you start with your razor. The pubes are much harder and tougher, the razor blades tent to clog up easily which will result in skin irritation. First start with a simple scissor and if necessary a hair trimmer. The scissor will do just fine most of the time.

    2.       Take a warm shower or put a warm towel around your waist area. Warm temperatures open the pores and makes shaving a lot easier. You can also use a pre-shave oil which also feels good, be sure though to buy sensitive pre-shave oil.

Develop your Style, 10 Ways to Wear a Scarf.

    Thursday, November 29th, 2007

I’m a sun lover and for me personal the winter has only one advantage above the summer and that’s that you can really dress to impress.

For me one of the nicest accessories is the scarf. Although you could have worn a thinner scarf as a fashion item last summer to, it is primarily a winter item.

If you want to dress to impress you need to know how to handle the accessories. Do you wear your scarf in a European formal way? Do you knot and flip it to the back? What’s your style?

Here’s a nice list with ways to wear your scarf. See what knot fits you style the best and bring your own image/style to a higher level.

You can click on the pictures to enlarge them.

Modern Men Acne picture2Today I received an e-mail that was pretty “shocking”. I love ripped up jeans and dress a bit extravagant, well tot a certain degree that is. So I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to fashion. But this quick peek into the new spring fashion line for the brand Acné was a bit disturbing. Especially knowing that they have some pretty cool men’s clothing items in there current collection.

Last year they had men walking the catwalk in female skinny jeans and to me surprisingly this was a huge success. But now they are launching men’s flats for their next year’s spring collection!! I just can’t imagine that these ballerina shoes will be a hit. I’m really curious how this develops; is this going to be a hit or will this “concept” die slowly on the catwalk. We just need to hold on and see if this is bringing them any success.

I wish you all the luck Acné!
