Friday, February 1st, 2008
Please note: If you came here via the article “The Fascination of the Design Tattoo.”, there went something wrong with the submission; my motivation for writing this article can be found here!!
I can hear you think… Is it real cable or satellite quality? Why do I need +3000 channels and most of them aren’t even from my country. I was extremely skeptical when I first heard about the programs which allowed you to watch TV on your computer… were they really worth it?
As you know; I love films and TV, but on one condition; it has to be great quality! I have a Media Centre which is the almost the best money can buy and if I would go with internet TV then I wanted the “absolute” best.
A Big, A Bigger, No the Biggest Monitor For on Your Desk.
Saturday, January 12th, 2008Today I was surfing around in the Blogosphere and I wasn’t looking for anything specific. I landed somehow on this blog called Curious Cat which is a Science and Engineering blog.
As most of you know by now I love screen real estate whether it is on my desk or a Big LCD Digital Photo Frame hanging on my wall.
This rear projection DLP system is a 2880 x 900 curved monitor from Alienware. Unfortunately there aren’t any prices available but the release is already scheduled for the second half of this year.
My guess is that the price will be scary but this Modern Man is putting him on his wish list. How about you, have a look at this YouTube movie.

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007
I don’t have kids yet but I love to spoil my little nephew Dylan and I was looking for some great Christmas presents. Of course you can have Santa live call your kid or have him make a personal video that is addressed to your kid (links are for the US only). Don’t get me wrong because these gifts will bring a smile on your kids face for sure but I wanted to get him a huge and awesome present. Don’t forget Christmas is for kids all about presents and if you want to spoil your kid, read on, this is what I found. I think there awesome, to bad I don’t fit in them myself;).

The Lamborghini Murciélago With BF Performance GT-kit.
Wednesday, November 7th, 2007
That Lamborghini is a fantastic brand isn’t news, that they make fantastic cars isn’t anything special either. Who doesn’t want to own a Lamborghini??
Today I was reading this news. The German car tuner BF Performance has lifted the Lamborghini Murciélago even to a higher level. I didn’t even think it was possible. The GT-kit which is developed by BF Performance will make the Murciélago like a real GT race monster (if it wasn’t one already) especially in white combined with carbon parts.
There are not many tuners who are willing to take up the Lamborghini´s, but this German tuner is and with success. One of their earlier models was the Murciélago LP640
The GT-bodykit comes with an adjustable front spoiler which is creating extra down force. On the backside there is mounted a fantastic spoiler and a huge diffuser. New side skirts in combination with the 19 and 21 inch wheels complete the look. All the parts are made of carbon and if the customer wants this, all the parts can be made visible or spray painted in the colour that they wish for. The engine will be upgraded to 660 hp instead of the 640hp. You even get a new audio system with this kit. For which I doubt you’ll ever use it since the V12 will make an awesome sound itself.
Do you want to be a space tourist
Saturday, October 20th, 2007History was made in space exploration.
October 4 2004 was a milestone in history for the civilian space industry. This was the day that the Ansari X price was rewarded to Burt Rutan, airplane designer and owner of Scaled Composites. The Ansari X price was a price awarded by Anousheh Ansari and her husband to the first company that made it possible to have 2 space trips within two weeks with a commercial build spaceship. The price had a value of 10 million US dollars. Burt Rutan won with his airplane/spaceship the SpaceShipOne which was just big enough the send one test pilot to a height of 100 kilometres.
The start of a Galactic Empire.
Shortly after these two successful flights sir Richard Branson of the Virgin Empire came in and started a joint venture with Burt Rutan’s Scaled Composites to become the worlds first commercial space line called Virgin Galactic.
Virgin Galactic will own and operate at least five of the new spaceships and two motherships. Branson is responsible for all commercial tasks and Rutan is building the SpaceShipTwo and the mothership White KnightTwo.
