Shaving your Balls Series Part 2: Knowing the Basics.

Categories: Men's Fashion, Men's Health, Men's Lifestyle

In part one I gave you 6 quick tips for shaving your balls because I know you probably couldn’t wait to pick up a razor and to do your thing;).

As I’ve told you the earlier article, scrotum shaving is not a thing to take lightly; it takes some patience and extra care to achieve the perfect results, which is of course, having a soft, itch-free scrotum.  When you start shaving your scrotum your skin down there is not as prepared compared to the skin on other parts of your body.  In fact the scrotum is where the most sensitive skin is located.

If you’re considering shaving your scrotum, get to know your skin type first.  It is strongly advised to stay away from this practice if you have a sensitive skin – unless you like itching and bad irritations after shave.  Having said that, let’s start with a few don’ts for shave time:

·         Don’t use an electric shaver

·         Don’t use wax

·         Don’t use chemicals to remove scrotum hair

We could go on explaining why, but since this article is about the basics, please just take my advice.  These pointers will make your scrotum happy.

By the way, use always a new blade.  A new razor blade will help you get the shaving job done in a pair of strokes, and that is what we need to avoid irritation.  Ok, so now sit down legs wide open and with a nice view of our scrotum start shaving carefully. Shave like this: First shaving stroke with the grain, second shaving stroke against the grain.  If you keep doing this you can end up with severe itching.  Be sure to cover all areas of your scrotum.

When you’ve finished shaving, apply moisturizer, and baby powder.  Like all first times it is not done 100% correctly, so baby powder can alleviate itching.  With time your scrotum skin will be accustomed to shaving.  Start by doing it once a week, until your skin is better.  And remember, patience for shaving is the key!

I hope you’ll enjoy your shaved privates!! I’ll see you at the next article with tips on how to shave your balls.
